The Experience:

Rome, the capital of Italy, is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula along the Tiber River with a history beyond 2,500 years making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in Europe. It boasts evidence of Roman mythology and culture having been the capital of the Roman Empire, and thus is considered the birthplace of Western civilization. Italy was the host to many famous artists and influential historical figures, including Roman emperors, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Bernini. Within the city, is The Vatican which is a separate country where the Pope resides.

John Cabot University is located near the Vatican in the center of Rome. The student residence is also in central Rome. Accommodations are usually in controlled-access apartments, with common rooms and kitchen facilities. Students in this program will be housed with other international students coming from places such as the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Students enrolled at John Cabot University come from more than 40 countries.
